South Korean director Park Chan-wook won the Best Director Award at the 75th Cannes Film Festival for his film "The Decision to Leave."
This is Park's third Cannes Film Festival win, having previously won the Grand Prix for the 2004 thriller "Oldboy" and the Jury Prize for the 2009 horror film "Thirst."

: "There was a time when the whole world had to break down borders due to COVID-19, but we all shared the same fears and concerns. Movie theaters also experienced a moment of losing their audiences, but it was at that time that we realized the value of movie theaters. Now that we have hope and strength to overcome the pandemic, I believe that our films and filmmakers will be able to protect movie theaters and films forever. I would like
